A prestigious baroque palace consisting of 4 large suites-apartments where original historical details such as the beautiful balconies with carved stone corbels, the mosaic floors and Modica coatings, meet modern details and functional design furnishings.
Casa Ruiz represents the transition between classic and contemporary Sicilian architecture: each restoration material is part of the history of Sicily, played in a modern key on contemporary and essential monolithic volumes.
Innovation and history can already be savored from the entrance, the wide monoblock staircase almost carved into the facade that has maintained the beauty of the past.
In full artistic respect, each of the 4 suites is characterized by original historical details, such as, for example, the beautiful mosaic floors and design furnishings: the Modica stone that covers the bathrooms and common areas is the perfect connection between ancient and modern, a common thread that takes up old traditions and projects them into the future.

At the beginning of the 1900s, Carmelo Ruiz, forefather of the ancient and noble Ruiz dynasty, decided to build a residence in the center of Noto, capable of combining the Baroque majesty of Noto with the joys of typical Sicilian family conviviality: Casa Ruiz was born.
Casa Ruiz became a family vacation home and from generation to generation happily lived surrounded by the beauty of art and culture, but unfortunately suffering the wear and tear of time.
Today Casa Ruiz has returned to its original splendor thanks to the historical recovery carried out by the last heirs: a restructuring aimed at preserving the historicity of the place, played on contemporary architecture and design.

The Aretusa suite, on the ground floor, has a swimming pool for exclusive use and a large garden completely covered in Modica stone, lined with trees and equipped with chairs and armchairs. Night lighting makes the atmosphere magical! It can accommodate 6 people thanks to the 2 double bedrooms with en-suite bathroom, 1 double sofa bed in the living room and a kitchen. For families and large groups who request it, it is possible to combine the two apartments on the ground floor.

The Ducezio suite, on the first floor, overlooking Palazzo Ducezio, can accommodate up to 4 people and consists of a double bedroom, 1 sofa bed in the living room, a kitchen, and 1 bathroom. Equipped with balconies on each window and a 15sqm equipped panoramic terrace on the upper floor, with a relaxation area for common use with the Arco suite. For families and large groups who request it, it is possible to combine the two apartments on the first floor.

It consists of a double bedroom, 1 double sofa bed in the living room, a kitchen, and 1 bathroom with two showers and a waterfall communicating with a small outdoor patio with a relaxation area for the exclusive use of the suite. For families and large groups who request it, it is possible to combine the two apartments on the ground floor.

The Infiorata
The Noto flower festival takes place every year the 3rd week end of May. This is not a religious event but a real Welcome to Spring.
16 large paintings made only with flower petals cover Via Nicolaci, one of the main streets of the historic center.
The theme changes each year, linked to current events or anniversaries, inspiring the flower masters.
Palazzo Ducezio
The Town Hall, Palazzo Ducezio, was designed by the local architect Vincenzo Sinatra in 1746. Sinatra was inspired by the French Baroque palaces even if the building was finally completed in 1830. Must to see the Hall of Mirrors in rich Louis XV style furniture, characterized by large mirrors sculpted by Sebastiano Dugo from Avola.
Cathedral of Noto
The Cathedral of San Nicolò is the main place of worship in Noto. Construction activities began in 1694 and ended in 1703.
The three-nave church hosts many artworks, some coming from Ancient Noto, which was completely destroyed by the 1693 earthquake. Among the relics, the silver urn containing the mortal remains of the hermit San Corrado Confalonieri, famous for his miracles.
Archaeological Museum
The museum currently illustrates the prehistory and history of almost all the archaeological sites of eastern and central Sicily, up to the classical age and, in relation to the city of Syracuse, to the Hellenistic and Roman periods. From April 2010 it has been enriched with the prestigious medal collection transferred from the previous exhibition site in Piazza Duomo. With the completion of the preparations, the exhibition also includes materials from the Christian-Byzantine period.
Syracuse
Its millenary history is represented by the suggestive Greek theater carved in tuff, Syracuse is one of the largest cities of the classical era. Worth seeing is its historic center, Ortigia and the ear of Dionysus which impressed Caravaggio himself. Syracuse was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 2005.
Modica
A city that has grown like a nativity scene, climbing up the iblei inside an ancient stream, where the two mother churches have faced each other for centuries, dividing the popular neighborhoods in two, united only by the ciauvuru of freshly baked scacce. Sweetened by the mellow flavor of the famous chocolate that has resisted all changes, preserving that tradition entrusted to ancient vessels and which has survived until today. UNESCO World Heritage Site of 2002.
Ragusa
Also called the city of bridges, Ragusa is divided into two large districts. The most characteristic is Ragusa Ibla built on the ruins of the old city. Between the narrow alleys, the white and black of the two characteristic stones of the area will lead you to the Duomo and its sumptuous staircase.
The architectural masterpieces built after the earthquake, together with all those present in the Val di Noto, were declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 2002.
Scicli
It is the location of the Vigata of Montalbano, Scicli remains among the most scenic. Houses climbed between the three valleys that close the city, crossed by a stream. In the heart of the city the churches: San Bartolomeo and San Giovanni, and Palazzo Beneventano with its irreverent masks. A true living nativity scene, a UNESCO heritage site since 2002.
Vendicari
Snorkeling, hiking and bathing into blue sea: this is the Oasis of Vendicari. Located between Noto and Pachino, 1512 hectares of Sicilian archeology enclosed in an uncontaminated and breathtaking landscape to be visited between a swim and another in splendid crystalline waters
